Just because the 42 mile Pine Barrens River Ramble is flat and even, don’t make the mistake of thinking there isn’t much going on. There’s plenty of natural beauty as you pedal through pine and oak forests, along cranberry bogs and by the banks of three different rivers, not to mention hundreds of years of history to explore at the restored 19th century Historic Batsto Village and at remnants of colonial-era industrial sites scattered along the way.
