BRING THE FAMILY

Add an unusual element to your next family reunion. The Lighthouse Center has activities and tours for all age groups.  But  only for groups.  So get the gang together, make your reservations and book your group program.

COME PREPARED

Neither rain nor sleet nor snow nor any other weather conditions will prevent the NREF from completing its programs.  So be sure everyone in your group has sunscreen, insect repellant, and sturdy hiking boots.  And everyone should be checked for ticks at the end of the day.

WHO KNEW

You could host your next meeting at a hotel.  Ho-hum.  Or you could invite everyone to the Lighthouse Center and liven things up a bit.  In addition to a rustic lodge with a fireplace, the Lighthouse Center also has meeting rooms at the Marine Field Station and overnight accommodations for retreats and multi-day programs.

JERSEY DEVIL SIGHTINGS

It has been a while since he's show up in Waretown -- 1980 to be exact.  That's when he terrorized the town banging on shed doors nightly.  But he had his fun and went on his way.  So you probably won't be seeing the Jersey Devil here.

VOLUNTEER

Become a volunter -- or better yet, a member -- and you can join in NREF's many activities and programs.  You can download a volunteer form and membership on their website.

SUPPORT

Now, here's a fun way to support the NREF.  Use GoodSearch.com as your search engine and put "Natural Resource Education Foundation" in the "who do you search for" line and NREF will get a donation.

LEAVE NO TRACE

If you bring it in, you have to take it out.  NREF doesn't provide trash bags so be sure someone in your group brings them with you when you visit.
