However, the farm recommends stopping by in July, when the harvest is most prolific. Farm-goers are also advised to call ahead and check on the condition of the blueberry harvest and the fields. The farm is open from 8am to 4pm Monday through Saturday.

WHO KNEW

Blueberries are one of the few truly blue foods on earth and are one of the few fruits native to North America. North America is, not surprisingly, the #1 exporter of blueberries.

TAKE PUBLIC TRANSIT

For a day of exercise, grab your bike and hop onto NJ Transit Bus 554. Get off at the Egg Harbor City stop at White Horse Pike and Philadelphia Avenue. Ride down Route 30 and make at left at Mannheim Avenue. The ride is approximately 5.4 miles.

LEAVE NO TRACE

While walking through the blueberry bushes at B & B Farms remember to tread carefully and avoid dropping your own belongings as you snack on berries. Keep the farm as pristine as you found it so that the only thing left to pick up are more blueberries for the next visitor.
