Whether it is the soil, the sunshine, the skill or a combination of the three, Valenzano Winery has found the right combination to produce award-winning wines. Since the winery first opened in 1996, they have increased production from 500 gallons to today’s annual 35,000 gallon yield.
Stop by Thursday through Sunday for complementary wine tastings. It is the ideal time to taste test their award-winning Cynthiana selections or their special seasonal wines. For many locals it isn’t Thanksgiving without Valenzano’s Cranberry Wine, made from berries from the region’s many cranberry bogs. OF course, the winery also produces traditional wines including their signature red Chambourcin, Cabernet Franc, Vidal Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Throughout the year, Valenzano hosts special wine-tasting events, particularly when they release new vintages. Call or check out the website to find out what is on the calendar.
