For lovers of fine arts and one-of-a-kind hand-created items, the Haddonfield Crafts and Fine Arts Festival is like a national holiday. More than 235 artisans from around the country are chosen to display their works. And their works are pretty special -- jewelry, lace, fabric art, furniture, paper, shall we continue? There is also photography, ceramics, metal and more. Really... name it and some artist who has figured out how to turn it into art will be there on Kings Highway.

Throughout the weekend, artists will also conduct demonstrations in their craft. You can find them doing there thing in a new demonstration area near gazebo in Kings Court.

It takes a lot of energy to make it through so many booths, so when you start to fade, head to one of the many food tents that are there. And for a special festive touch, live entertainment and music will add to the party atmosphere.

BRING THE FAMILY

While mom and dad are cruising the artists'  tents in search of a rare treasure, the kids can get their faces painted, enjoy live music performances and have fun romping in the streets.

COME PREPARED

If you drive, get there early because the parking lot gets filled fast. Besides, you'll get the best selection.

WHO KNEW

The world's first nearly-complete dinosaur skeleton was found in Haddonfield in 1858 by William Foulke. The actual spot where the Hadrosaurus Folkii was discovered is marked with a bronze plaque at the edge of Cooper River Park.

LEAVE NO TRACE

If you’re shopping, remember to handle products with care.  Many of the artists have spent a great deal of time crafting their work and it would be a shame to break anything. It goes without saying that big events, like the Haddonfield Crafts and Fine Arts Festival, can also produce a lot of trash - so make sure that you do your part to limit the amount of cleanup needed when it’s over.
