When someone says “Snake Eyes” at Sahara Sam’s, they’re not talking about rolling dice. It is just one of almost a dozen soaking-wet, laugh-filled water rides that are open year-round. There's also Lizard Lagoon, Crocodile Flats, Mount Kiliminjaro, Tim-Buk-Tu Tree Fort and other places to splash 12 months of the year. Yep. During the winter months, Sahara Sam’s is an indoor water park, but when the nice weather rolls around, the retractable roof lets the summer sun shine in.
At Sahara Sam’s, the whole family can ride, slide, roll, splash and loop around in the water rides. Whether you spring for a year-round family pass or a one-day pass, you have access to all the rides and facilities, including shower room, locker room, snack bar and other amenities.
Have a party in their various party rooms that can accommodate groups of 10 to 325 people. And grown-ups who need an excuse to release their inner child can host corporate meetings there—they keep AV and projection equipment on-site so your group can sit through a work presentation and then cool off with a wild ride down the rapids.
Although the one thing Sahara Sam’s doesn’t have is a traditional pool, they do have swimming lessons and aerobics classes to help you stay fit as a fiddle. A wet fiddle, but a fiddle nevertheless.
