The Riverfront Promenade Park features a Banstand, sitting areas, a TotLot, basketball courts and a boat ramp. During the summer, the park also hosts a free concert series every Thursday in July and August with music ranging from big band and jazz to old time rock 'n' roll.

BRING THE FAMILY

Perfect for family outings, especially in the summer. With plenty of places to sit, as well as a TotLot and basketball courts, the park is near the famous, "Best of Philly" award winner, Ummm Ice Cream Parlor, a great compliment to a evening at the Riverfront Summer Concert Series.

COME PREPARED

Bring blankets and lawn chairs if you plan on having a picnic or staying for an evening concert.

WHO KNEW

Nearby the park, you can visit the birthplace of Last of the Mohicans author James Fenimore Cooper and the home of naval hero Captain James "Don't Give up the Ship" Lawrence.

LEAVE NO TRACE

If you decide to have a picnic, do your best to leave the Park the way you found it.  Remember to take home anything that you brought. And never bury your trash. Animals will dig it up or it will become exposed later on for someone else to find.
