There isn't much in the way of amenities that kids usually need.  No rest rooms, no snack stands, just acre after acre of unspoiled nature. If that's their thing, go for it.

Its the Pinelands. Chiggers and ticks love the Pinelands. Which means it is a good idea to dress in light clothes with long sleeves and pant legs so they are easy to spot.  And, of course, lots and lots of insect repellant. 

A solar-powered electric fence along the property keeps deer from nibbling on the new seedlings being planted.

This preserve is for foot access only so leave the bikes at home. Please stay on the trail and avoid treading on some of the unique trailside vegetation. Take your trash with you and, if you don't mind, someone else's if you come across it.
