Bass River State Park
When you get to Bass River State Park, your hardest choice will be what to do first. Head to 67 acre Lake Absegami so you can swim, paddle your canoe or launch your boat? Or hike the Park’s eight trails? Maybe find a spot under the trees for a picnic or unpack your gear and set up your campsite. Throughout Bass River’s 27,635 acres, you’ll find lots of ways to enjoy the great outdoors, no matter what you enjoy doing.
 
Batona Trail
Follow the pink blazes posted along cedar swamps, through flat lands and over sandy trails, and you’ll traverse 50 miles of one of the most famous trails along the East Coast. Winding through Wharton State Forest, Brendan Byrne State Forest and Bass River State Forest, the Batona Trail offers hikers, cross country skiers and snowshoers of all abilities challenging but very do-able paths.
 
Bayshore Discovery Project
Launched in 1928, the A.J. Meerwald was one of hundreds of schooners that trolled for oysters in the Delaware Bay. Today, it's a floating environmental education center. Themed voyages, such as Birding and Raptor Sails, Lighthouse Cruises, and other special programs combine fun, ecological education and historical information for the whole family.
 
Bel Haven Paddlesports
Whether you are a casual paddler or an avid river rat in the market to buy your own kayak or canoe, Bel Haven Paddlesports can hook you up and before you know it, you’ll be floating through the rivers of the Pinelands. They’ll provide the transportation to and from your portage spots and at the end of your trip, you can switch into dry clothes (because you will get wet!) in their comfortable changing rooms.
 
Belleplain State Forest
Make it a day trip – or an overnight adventure – at Belleplain State Forest and you’ll be hooked. The 21,300 acre forest is just what the outdoor-lover ordered. By day, you can fish, go boating, swim, picnic, bike, hike or challenge yourself along the physical fitness trail. By night, bunk down at one of hundreds of spots for tent, trailer, yurt or lean-to camping sites.
 
Bordentown Beach Canoe/Kayak Launch
Since it was settled by the Quakers in 1682, the Delaware River has played a significant role in the history of Bordentown. Centuries later, the river still defines the town. The Bordentown Beach and Boat Ramp offers a small picnic area and a paved boat ramp where you can load in your canoe or kayak for a day of paddling.  Be sure to check the tide schedules though because the waters can rise or fall as much as eight feet.
 
Burlington City Boat Ramp
Because getting into the water can often be the most tedious part of boating, the Burlington City Boat Ramp assists individuals and groups by offering a variety of services that include Daily and Seasonal watercraft permits, parking for vehicles, vessels, and boat trailers, an attendant, and most importantly, a boat ramp to get you floating on the Delaware in no time. 
 
Camden County Parks System
The folks at Camden County Park System work hard so you can play hard. From your early-morning jog on a favorite trail to a free evening, throughout the Camden County Park System, you’ll find dozens of activities in the Park System’s well-maintained marina and parks. And with 20 parks to choose from, you won’t have to go far to have fun.
 
Chips Folly Family Campgrounds
You could pitch your tent, hook up your RV or check into one of the three cabins at Chips Folly Family Campground and spend your days sitting on the boat dock dangling your toes into the lake or soaking up some sun by the large pool. But then you’d be missing out on all the other activities and amenities that this 300-site campground has to offer.
 
Cooper River Park
Along the banks of the Cooper River, the Park is a dream for folks who love to go out and play. With facilities that range from a modern kiddie playground and miniature golf course to a sleek, modern boathouse and volleyball courts, Cooper River Park winds through Cherry Hill, Pennsauken, Collingswood and Haddon Township providing 346 acres of outdoor fun.
 
Corson’s Inlet State Park
Corson’s Inlet State Park combines ecotourism with year-round outdoor recreation.
The 341-acre Park features a variety of habitats, such as sand dunes, marine estuaries and upland areas.
 
Delaware River Greenway Partnership
In addition to providing river cleanups and classes about the the Delaware River, Delaware River Greenway Partnership also manages the proposed Delaware River Heritage Trail, for biking and hiking through New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
 
Delaware River Heritage Trail
The Delaware River Heritage Trail celebrates the area's culture and dedication to environmental conservation. The Trail invites visitors and locals to run, bike, and hike along the beautiful pathway. The Trail also serves as an outdoor classroom for students of all ages to learn more about the historic and ecological wonders along the Delaware River.
 
Delaware River Sojourn
It begins in Narrowsburg, NY. It ends at Matinicunk Island in Burlington. And in between, there are 7 days of paddling the Delaware River. This year’s Sojourn commemorates the 40th anniversary of the passage of the Wild and Scenic River Act, an apt tribute since your trip will be a little wild, very scenic and lots and lots of fun. Paddle for one day or give it your all and stick it out for the whole trip, your choice. Portage, transport, camping and two meals a day are provided.
 
Elmer Lake Wildlife Management Area
Have your hiking boots? Fishing rods? Hunting equipment? Binoculars? That’s pretty much all you’ll need to enjoy a day at Elmer Lake Wildlife Management Area. With 279 acres of rustic wetlands, lake area and forests, the WMA is rich in flora, fauna and wildlife. Hike the trails or load your boat into the 45 acre Elmer Lake and spend a lazy afternoon fishing or watching birds up close and personal.
 
Four Seasons Family Campground
You never know when you are going to get the urge to get away from it all and when you do, the Four Season Family Campground will be waiting for you. Bring your trailer, tent, or check into one of their cabins for a day, week, or longer. Fully-loaded with sports facilities, a rec hall, a lake for swimming and fishing, a busy calendar of themed events and the all-important utility hook-ups and showers, you’ll find everything you need for your outdoor escape.
 
Gloucester County Parks System
You decide what you want to do -- fish, go boating, play ball, explore history, discover nature, have a picnic, or whatever else. Then visit one of the four parks within the Gloucester County Park System. Well-equipped with scads of amenities and busy with programs and activities, Scotland Run, Red Bank Battlefield, Greenwich Lake or the James G. Atkinson Memorial parks all have lots of ways for you to get out and play.
 
Great Egg Harbor National Wild & Scenic & River
It starts as a trickle near Berlin, but along its 129 mile trek, the Great Egg Harbor River gradually widens and is joined by  17 tributaries on its way to Great Egg Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean. Most of the River cuts through the Pinelands National Reserve. For paddlers, it's a favorite spot for canoeing and kayaking. Each year, striped bass and alewife herring spawn in the tributaries also making it a great spot for fishing. 
 
Ironwood Outdoor Center
What used to be a YMCA camp has been turned into a community outdoor center with outdoor programs for groups, affordable swim facilities for families and trails and boat docks for anyone to use. For the adventurous, Ironwood’s rope course will get the adrenalin flowing, but unless you are part of a group, you’ll have to wait for one of their open house days. But once you ride the zip line, you’ll know it was worth the wait.
 
Long Bridge Park
Right along the Rancocas Creek, Long Bridge Park has a little of everything that goes into making a great park . . . forested areas, pond, wetlands, meadows, marshland and lots of space for families to play. You can hike along four trails that wind 2.5 miles past fishing spots, picnic tables and pavilions, playground and nature areas.
