A Day of Kiting
 
Bordentown Cranberry Festival
For a berry, berry fun afternoon, head to the Bordentown Cranberry Festival. Each October, the main street in this charming downtown turns into a rollicking, frolicking street fair with fine arts, crafts, vendors, musicians, an antique car show and of course, all kinds of cranberry treats.
 
Cherry Hill Spring Family Festival
Cherry Hill Spring Family Festival. The name pretty much says it all. Families will find lots to keep everyone entertained during this festival held each spring at the historic Croft Farm in Cherry Hill. It goes without saying that the highlight of the festival is the food -- and lots of it! But there are also pony rides, a community fair, a 5K run and tons of other make-you-smile activities.  
 
Country Living Fair
If your kids turn up their noses at the thoughts of studying history, a trip to the Country Living Fair at historic Batsto Village should change all that. Each year, the historic village returns to its roots presenting demonstrations of crafts and activities done the old way. The real old way -- as in centuries old. Of course, it is a Fair so there is also food, entertainment, tours, and all kinds of other displays and activities that celebrate the simple country life in the Pinelands.
 
Haddonfield Crafts and Fine Arts Festival
For one weekend each year, Kings Highway is transformed from a busy thoroughfare that winds through a trendy shopping district into an almost magical world of talented fine artists and craftspeople. Throughout the weekend, this joint is jumping with more than 235 creative artisans who are chosen to exhibit their works. Live entertainment, food and kids activities round out the weekend.
 
Haddonfield Fall Festival
Hit the ATM.  Load up the credit cards.  It's time for the annual Haddonfield Fall Festival. The day-long event features more than 80 juried artists and craftspeople, who express their talent in jewelry, fine art, photography, wood, ceramics and pottery, glass and other mediums. The town celebration also features horse-drawn carriage rides, kids activities, strolling entertainers and of course, all of the Haddonfield shops and restaurants.

Pinelands Discovery Festival
Each Kick off Pinelands Month at the Pinelands Discovery Festival, a full day of activities all designed to introduce you to the secrets of the famous Pine Barrens. Tractor tours, exhibits, conservation activities, exhibits, wild animals, crafts, music, food and  the grand finale of the Tour de Pines bicycle classic all come together to create a day of information, education and a ton of fun.
 
Pinelands Month
The Pinelands are so important they get a not a day, not a week but a whole month dedicated to them . . . and by proclamation of the governor of New Jersey, no less. Throughout October hardly a day goes by that one of the dozens of nature-oriented groups within the Pinelands’ million acres doesn’t have an event or activity. The highlight is the conclusion of the five-day Tour de Pines bicycle rally during the Pinelands Festival.
 
Pinelands Native Plant Sale
Pinelands Preservation Alliance will have for sale limited quantities of trees, shrubs and wildflowers that are native to the Pinelands. These plants are excellent for use in backyard landscaping, requiring minimal water and fertilizer. Why not plant the Pinelands in your garden this spring? With natives trees like gray birch and pitch pine; shrubs like American holly, beach plum, and high-bush blueberry;
 
South Jersey Pumpkin Show
Let’s see. There’s music. Food. Contests. Crafts. Pumpkins. More music. More food. More Contests. More crafts. And more pumpkins. In fact, probably the biggest pumpkins you’ve ever seen. The two-day South Jersey Pumpkin Show takes over the Cumberland County Fairgrounds to celebrate autumn with non-stop entertainment on several stages, lots of contests, including the yummy Dessert Contest and tents full of wares by outstanding artisans. The Cranberry Festival of Chatsworth
For lovers of hand-crafted art objects, antiques, and of course, cranberries, the Chatsworth Cranberry Festival is one of the most highly-anticipated festivals. More than 200 artisans exhibit their works during this juried crafts show. Food is plentiful and some recipes are specially made just for this event. And of course, there is music, demonstrations and other activities that celebrate the traditional culture of the Pine Barrens.
 
Whitesbog Blueberry Festival
When Elizabeth White cultivated the first blueberry early in the 20th century, she couldn't have foreseen how the little fruit would become so popular it would have its own festival.  Held at Whitesbog Village, the birthplace of the blueberry, the day-long event celebrates everything blueberry and features tours of local bogs, music, entertainment, children's crafts and other activities that celebrate the culture of the Pinelands.
 
Winding River Campground
Even in camping it all comes down to location, location, location. And you can’t get a location much better than Winding River Campground’s. Situated along the Great Egg Harbor River, the campground’s 105 trailer sites and 28 tent sites (as well as their 2 rental cabins) get the benefit of cool river breezes as well as lots of opportunities for canoeing, kayaking and tubing down this Wild and Scenic River.  
 
Antique Glass & Bottle Show
Every year, on the last Sunday of September, antique lovers head out early for the Antique Glass and Bottle Show at Historic Batsto Village.  The show, featuring more than 100 high-quality vendors from up and down the East Coast, might have glass and bottles in the title but there is so much more here -- quilts, furniture, lamps, estate and costume jewelry, linens, clothes, coins and other treasures from decades and centuries ago.
 
Apple Festival
The Kirby’s Mill annual Apple Festival has the best of everything – more than 100 booths packed with the creations of some of the region’s finest artisans and craftspeople, music and entertainment, and food, food, and more food – apple-flavored, of course. And with the changing colors of the surrounding  foliage, an autumn afternoon doesn't get much better than this.
 
Berlin Farmers' Market
Sometimes the biggest really is the best. Berlin Farmers Market falls into that category. Founded as a livestock and produce auction in 1940, the Market has grown. And grown. And grown. Today, it will take you hours to wander through the 150,000 square feet of indoor market space, not to mention space for another 700 booths outside. They still sell produce along with just about anything else you can name.
 
Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
For injured wildlife, the Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge is a safe haven where they are nursed back to health and whenever possible, released back into the wild. For nature lovers, Woodford is a quiet preserve in the heart of the Pinelands where you can walk the secluded trails, join in educational programs and activities or visit the cute - and not-so-cute - wild things that the Center’s staff feed and rehabilitate.
 
Heritage Vineyards of Richwood
Part farm, part winery and vineyard, Heritage Station has more than 115 acres of tree fruits and wine grape vines grown on location. No trip is complete without tasting Heritage's award winning wines and learning about what new seasonal varities will be availabe in the near future.
 
West Cape May Farmers' Market
Look for Jersey tomatoes and lopes (the local jargon for cantaloupes), freshly picked corn, peaches and all sorts of green healthy stuff to eat.
