Appel Farm Arts and Music Center
Appel Farm isn’t THAT kind of farm. Here they grow talent. Tucked away on 176 rural acres, the regional, multidisciplinary arts and music center conducts workshops for all ages. Family-friendly pricing makes their music and dance concerts and theater productions very popular. And the annual Arts & Music Festival has earned a reputation as one of the best on the east coast attracting some of the top names in music.
 
Batsto Village
Thanks to the munitions produced by the Batsto Iron Works, the Continental Army had the arms they needed to defeat the British. After the Revolution, the Iron Works produced such household items as pots and kettles and employed hundreds of people who lived in Batsto Village. Today, the living 19th-century history museum features more than 30 historic buildings that recount the town’s dominance as a glassmaking and agricultural center.
 
Buzby's Chatsworth General Store

You could pitch your tent, hook up your RV or check into one of the three cabins at Chips Folly Family Campground and spend your days sitting on the boat dock dangling your toes into the lake or soaking up some sun by the large pool. But then you’d be missing out on all the other activities and amenities that this 300-site campground has to offer.
 
Clementon Amusement Park & Splash World
Almost everything here at South Jersey’s oldest family amusement park is new. Laguna Kahuna, the most recent addition, adds 13,000 square feet of wet, splashy fun to Clementon’s Splash World water park. There are a few thrills here – with a 110 foot drop at 50 mph, the Hellcat roller coaster is good for some delighted screams of excitement. But there are also many gentle adventures in store for the very young set at the family-oriented amusement park.

Cowboys -- and a few cowgirls -- from around the nation hit the ring on Saturday night, riding rough bulls and horses to accumulate points for sanctioned championships. 
 
Duffield Farm's Pick-Your-Own
The family farm is alive and well at Duffields. And thanks to the owners’ participation in a farmland preservation, it always will be. The farm has been in the Duffield family since the 1930s and after several generations and several expansions, it is now at 136 acres. The family grows more than 35 varieties of fruits and veggies and they let you pick some yourself, they added a deli, a bakery and lots of family activities

Fall Forestry Festival

The Fall Forestry Festival is Saturday, October 4th from 10 am to 3 pm, rain or shine. The event is for families, groups, and scouts, there will be over 40 Nature-themed exhibits, demonstrations, and tours.

A visit to Farmer's Jack can be themed for any season. In the winter, the farm features an impressive collection of Christmas trees and wreaths. Additionally, with a tree purchase, every member of the family is offered a free pony ride. Fall is time for Halloween, horse drawn wagon rides, farm tours, and an invitation to buy your fill of New Jersey vegetables and fruits. Produce is also available for purchase throughout the summer.

Gloucester County 4-H Fair and NJ Peach Festival
No matter where you look, there is something exciting and fun going on at the Gloucester County 4H Club Fair and NJ Peach Festival. Of course, there are horses, goats, sheep, rabbits and all the exhibitions and competitions among the 4H members who worked so hard on their projects all year. But there are also carnival rides, magic shows, baby parades, racing pigs, and the crowning of the New Jersey Peach Queen.
