Garden State Discovery Museum
Meet Slimey. And Toby and Rex and Spike. They are the turtles who live at the Garden State Discovery Museum, a part-play, part-education, all-fun interactive museum for kids. The new wildlife habitat is one of the many activities where kids age 12 and under can rev up their imaginations and learn about the environment, and explore science, the arts and various careers in a pint-sized setting.
 
Hedger House
The Hedger House is a pleasant restaurant/bar/deli located on Route 563, several miles north of the town center. In the summer months, the establishment hosts live entertainment in the beer garden. And throughout the rest of the year, there are numerous performances,  as well as a weekly karaoke night.
 
James G. Atkinson Memorial Park
Make a play date with the family at James G. Atkinson Park. With 66 acres to roam, romp and play, the Park has everything the gang will need for a day of fun. Bring your racquets, cleats, balls and bats to play on the tennis, soccer, football and baseball fields. Playgrounds give the kids places to play and the amphitheater hosts live entertainment during the summer. And of course, the picnic areas are idea for al fresco lunch or dinner.
 
Lake Kandle Campground and Swim Club
No wonder there isalways a waiting list for one of the 120 campsites at Lake Kandle campground. There are so many amenities and activities here -- a fully-stocked lake for fishing and boating, a huge new pool, paddle boats, a playground, ball courts and a jam-packed activities schedule -- that it takes the whole season to do it all. Which works out well since all the campsites are full-season rentals.
 
Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club
The Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club was founded in 1912 for the purpose of promoting yachting and other sports, social events, and friendship. Celebrate the beauty and history of Little Egg Harbor through the various activities LEHYC hosts throughout the year.
 
Mainstage Center for the Arts
Mainstage Center for the Arts is a regional performing arts center located on the campus of Camden County College in Blackwood, New Jersey. Maria Barnaby Greenwald Memorial Park
This Park is 47.21 acres and is very beautiful.  It has a playground, softball fields, volleyball courts, and a cross-country pass.  It also has picnic tables set up.  And for all those two-wheelers, there is a bike path that travels through the whole park.
 
Medford
Established by the Friends in 1761 and home to commercially productive ironworks, Medford is now a beautiful town and a wonderful weekend getaway location.

The Blueberry Factory

If summer’s heat gets you down, Atsion Lake Recreational Area provides a refreshing escape. Set amid the Pinelands in Wharton State Forest, Atsion has what you need to chill out. Take your pick of picnicking, hiking, boating or swimming in the cooling water of Atsion Lake. Better yet, book a campsite or cabin and do it all.

Berlin Farmers' Market
Sometimes the biggest really is the best. Berlin Farmers Market falls into that category. Founded as a livestock and produce auction in 1940, the Market has grown. And grown. And grown. Today, it will take you hours to wander through the 150,000 square feet of indoor market space, not to mention space for another 700 booths outside. They still sell produce along with just about anything else you can name.
 
Budd's K-n-P Farms & Country Kitchen
There’s lots to pick at Budds KNP Farm and Market. Some things – like collards, string beans, tomatoes, apples, mustard greens and other Jersey Fresh produce -- you can pick right from the fields. Other things, like their home-baked goods, salads, crabs and clams, you can pick up at the farmers market. And for a real treat, go directly to the Country Kitchen for fresh homemade buttermilk pancakes, country box dinners or other homemade meals.  
 
Camden County Historical Society Museum
With not one, not two, but three historic buildings, the Camden County Historical Society complex tells the story of the people and events that shaped the region. The research library contains 20,000 books, newspapers, pamphlets, maps, deeds, diaries and genealogical material stretching back three centuries. Pomona Hall shows the elaborate lifestyle of the 18th century “haves” and the Museum has hundreds of artifacts dating back to the Lenape tribe.
 
DiMatteo Vineyards
Dad grew up making wine. Son grew up farming. So they pooled their talents and opened DiMatteo Vineyards, a 14-acre family-run winery that has earned numerous medals for their wines since they popped the cork on their first bottle in 2004. Drop by on weekends to wander through the vineyards and sample what is ready to go from their selection of 15 grape and fruit wines.
